Entertainment for Nursing Homes & Children's Hospitals

Since starting my entertainment career as Wayne "Rhythm Chef" Jones, I've played many free events, and most of those have been for residents in nursing homes. It's easy to make friends with people who are so very appreciative, as they have been, and I've grown to love them and hope to visit and entertain them more often. Besides enjoying my spoons playing, they've had a blast singing when I take my karaoke shows to their locations, and I've even taught them American Sign Language Finger-spelling so they can learn to communicate with other residents who are learning to cope with hearing loss. I wish I could continue visiting them, and broaden my rounds to include other nursing homes more distant from my home, but the expense has slowed the progress of that dream. Many of you also know that I've dreamed about taking my show on a tour of children's hospitals across North America, all 170 of them. Since the only thing holding me back is funding, I've decided to open an opportunity for the readers of my blog to help at any level they feel inspired to contribute.
