A challenge to entertainers...

Through my association with Musicians On Call, the national association of musicians who perform free at hospitals, I am empowered to lengthen my stride in bringing smiles to the faces of those who are not able to go to a theater to enjoy a show. In addition to the free shows I've been performing in nursing homes, schools, and assisted-living villages, there are over 200 children's hospitals in North America, and my hope is to get to as many as possible, as soon as possible. Now I am extending a challenge to you, my entertainer friends across America, to spread some cheer at hospitals, nursing homes, assisted-living villages and schools, whenever you can, and wherever you are. Then please write to me with the accounts of your experience, or better yet, send a link to the video created at the event. And when you get the chance, show someone how to do what you do, whether it's playing a guitar, harmonica, flute, or singing. You'll be walking on air after each performance, that's a promise.
